Katherine Ballard, RN
Katherine is the co-owner & skincare specialist at ReDiscover Aesthetics. Katherine grew up in Metairie, Louisiana and attended Mount Carmel Academy. She got her Nursing degree from Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge, LA and spent most of her nursing career in Intensive Care, inpatient wound care and Home Health. “Transitioning my career to Aesthetics is very exciting for me. Some of my clients are very conscious about their skin conditions; to be able to help them feel more confident in their own skin is a blessing! I’m in love with what I do!” Katherine is passionate about getting to know her clients and designing an individualized treatment plan based on their needs & goals. Her mission is to help you “ReDiscover” your beauty.
Arden Ballard, MS, PA-C, ATC, AAOPM.
Arden is the Co-Owner and Physician Assistant at ReDiscover Aesthetics and has been practicing medicine for over 14 years. “No matter what specialty I worked, no matter the patient or the circumstances, all I ever wanted to do with my career was make people better than how I met them”. Starting his career as a Certified Athletic Trainer, Arden has had the opportunity to work with people, patients, and clients from all walks of life–from professional athletes and entertainers to stay at home moms and business professionals. Arden was mentored by a Physician Assistant early in his career, and he knew it was the choice for him. After graduating from Philadelphia University in 2010, Arden spent the majority of his career in surgical specialties and busy clinics. He learned a lot, but he knew something was lacking; “I got into medicine to connect with my patients and make them feel special. I want my patients to feel like they are my only patient on Earth”. That is what attracted him to open his own Aesthetics clinic. Arden is constantly learning, and the Aesthetics world offers him the ability to both be on the cutting edge of medical technology and change the lives of his clients. “I am so excited to be able to get to know my clients, spend time with them, and have them leave the office confident, excited and in love with their results”. Arden is Certified by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine (AAOPM) recognized throughout the United States, Asia, and South America. Initially this certification and membership requires an abundance of additional training and education in the chosen field of expertise. To maintain the AAOPM certification Arden is required to sustain a rigorous program of continuing medical education that impacts the provision of his aesthetic and rejuvenative skills. Arden will continue a relevant curriculum taught by a renowned faculty of physicians and specialists in these fields – ensuring his clients that they are receiving the best treatments possible. Personally, Arden has a vast array of hobbies and passions. From Photography to exercise, Mountain Biking to getting his Private Pilot’s License, Arden doesn’t stay still! Most of all, he enjoys time with his wife and children — Kayden, Karsen and Klaire.
